City Hall

The Town Hall was built in the eighteenth century, at least in part by the engineer Giuseppe Castelli, of Sandamianese origin. It was built by the Counts Carlevaris family as a summer residence, which is why it is also called Palazzo Carlevaris. You can visit the council room and the municipal gallery.

Giant Bench

The giant bench of San Dammiano is the second in Piedmont made so that it is also accessible to the disabled, the first in the province of Asti. The bench is red, with blue legs, is surrounded by vineyards but can be reached thanks to a well-placed dirt road from which you can admire the fantastic landscape overlooking the city. Church of Saints Cosmas and Damian

The church of Saints Cosma and Damiano is a Catholic place of worship of San Damiano d'Asti, located at the northern entrance of the village, where once stood the fortress built by the inhabitants of Asti who founded the village in the thirteenth century, currently the square in front of the church takes its name. It’s dedicated to the two patron saints Cosmas and Damian of the city.

Church of San Vincenzo

The parish church of San Vincenzo Martire was built between the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries has two naves and inside three other naves covered by cross vaults, barrel and sail, punctuated by nine chapels inside there are paintings of the twentieth century by Luigi Morgari. Just behind the church you can also admire a red bell tower nineteenth century square base.

Church of San Giuseppe

The church of San Giuseppe, located on the central square of the town of San Damiano d'Asti, is one of the largest Piedmontese baroque buildings dating back to the eighteenth century. This building has always housed the Brotherhood of Saint Joseph, known as the Company of Angels. The structure is built on two levels with vertical and horizontal pilasters that enrich the front.

Foro Boario

Foro Boario, inaugurated on 16 December 2017 following the renovation of the previous building, consists of the multifunctional hall on the ground floor, suitable for exhibitions, congresses, theaters and exhibitions, an equipped kitchen; and the municipal library, on the first floor. The property is located in Piazza 1275 where there are signs on the walls that describe the history of San Damiano.

The former Prison Mandamentale

The former Prison Mandamentale located in Via delle Carceri 1 used as a place of imprisonment until September 1964 was later used as a restaurant was the first headquarters of the wine shop of the Alfieri Hills. Currently inside the structure there is the restaurant Boh'em Bistrot.

Tramvia

An important public work was the Tramvia a vapore opened to the public in 1882. The steam tram line went from Asti to Canale passing through San Damiano. The Old Seat of the Civle Hospital and Retirement Home

The nursing home was founded at the beginning of 700 by the Congregation of Charity which imposed all municipalities to build at least one hospital to help the poor until 1968, when the Civil Hospital was suppressed, from then until 1982 it simply became the Retirement Home.
The current building was transformed into a condominium maintaining the same structure of the oldest wing.

Church of the brotherhood of SS Annunziata

Established on 10 April 1496 with the increase in the number of confrati of the SS. Annunziata, was offered by the municipality a land owned by him next to the Parish of Ss Cosma and Damiano. On the facade above the central door presents a fresco representing the Virgin Annunciation by the Archangel Gabriel inside there is a crypt an ancient underground church that served in the winter period for the officiations of the Brothers. Casa Felice Daneo

This house located in Via Giuseppe Garibaldi belonged to the Italian historian Felice Daneo born in San Damiano in 1825 wrote many works with patriotic ideas such as "On the Italian Monarchy", "The Little Pantheon Subalpino" "The life of the illustrious Sandamianese" and "The history of the town of San Damiano". On the facade of the house you can admire the monumental in his honor where a text of the memorial speech is written.

Chapel of San Rocco

The chapel dedicated to San Rocco was built around 1660 The sanctuary is a simple building with a single rectangular nave, the structure of the building has remained unchanged over time, in modern times the facade, plaster, has been embellished, However, the liturgical building has retained a very simple appearance. The Rosine Institute

The Rosine Institute of San Damiano and one of the institutes founded by Rosa Govone where it housed the girls victims of violence. In San Damiano it was founded in 1770 thanks to the donation of his house by Maria Barbero the institute was very popular then it was created a kindergarten and a female pensioner, With the decrease in the number of Rosines, this institution had to cease its activity.
