Itineraries in San Damiano

DESCRIPTION:

Going downhill among wines and truffles is a more unique than rare opportunity! Thanks to this activity it is possible to follow an itinerary through some of the most suggestive villages around San Damiano. This route is divided into stages and can be done on foot or by bike. The project aims to promote, disseminate and make known the territory with all its characteristics.

CURIOSITY:

Thanks to this activity, through continuous maintenance and conservation over time, the network of paths, routes and roads that have been decommissioned or abandoned over time are kept alive, as peasant life and the activities associated with it have been lost over time .

GUIDE SERVICE:  

The route can be covered alone or accompanied by the authorized guides of the various municipalities.

DEPARTURE LOCATION: Piazza Libertà in San Damiano.

PLACE OF ARRIVAL: San Damiano d'Asti.

LENGTH: The route, mainly unpaved, connects 6 towns and is about 60 km long but each town already has its own trail network and this means that the km can reach up to 120.

DIFFICULTY: The itinerary is simple and easy.

JOURNEY TIME: It depends on whether the route is done by bike or on foot. If you do it on foot, it takes up the whole day, while by bike you spend the whole morning and a little in the early afternoon.
